Lawmakers to Consider Civil Unions

The state senate will soon take up a measure on whether to allow
civil unions in Colorado. A similar bill failed last year in the Republican controlled house by a single vote. State capitol reporter Bente Birkeland looks at the varied views on the controversial issue, and why it’s an emotional topic for both proponents and opponents.
